Real prices, in the open.
Most accounting firms make you sit through a sales call to learn what anything costs. Ours are below — round numbers, starting points in plain sight, and your exact fixed price confirmed in writing after a short review of your books. No hourly billing. No charm pricing. No surprises in month two.

Every tier includes everything in the tiers before it.
The fine print, in the open
- Starting prices assume one business entity and a typical transaction volume for a business your size — the books review confirms where you land. How many bank or credit accounts you have isn’t the driver — accounts that sit mostly idle don’t count against you. What matters is complexity: heavy transaction volume, frequent movement between accounts, multiple entities, inventory, or job costing.
- Need weekly calls, more entities, or more complexity than the typical business your size? That’s priced into your fixed quote or the next tier — before you sign, not after.
- Prices are reviewed annually; if your price ever changes, you’ll know in writing, in advance.
Don’t see yourself in a tier?
Every business is a little different. If none of these look like you, email us at info@ffacct.com and tell us a little about your business — we’ll tell you honestly where you’d fit, even if the answer turns out to be the Custom tier or a recommendation for a different firm.
Tax & add-ons
- Business + personal tax preparation (ongoing clients): business returns from $1,250/yr; personal return priced with it in your proposal.
- Payroll processing: from $200/mo (we run payroll through Paylocity for payroll clients)
- Sales-tax filing: from $125/mo
- Accounts payable / receivable management: from $150/mo
- Catch-up / cleanup project: from $1,000, fixed quote after the books review
- 12-month budget or forecast project: quoted per project at Fractional CFO level
How your price is set
1. Consultation
Free, 20 minutes.
2. Books review
View-only QuickBooks access; we count what actually drives your price: transaction volume and how money moves between accounts, entities, payroll, sales-tax states, and the condition of the books.
3. Written fixed price
One monthly number, scope in plain English, e-sign to start. If cleanup is needed it’s a separate fixed project, quoted the same way.
Pricing questions
Why “starting at” instead of one price?
Because the honest price depends on your books — transaction volume and complexity, and how current they are. Anyone quoting you a flat number without looking is guessing, and guesses get settled later, in their favor. We look first, then fix the price in writing.
Do you bill hourly?
No. Engagements are fixed monthly fees, so you can budget us like rent — and call us without watching a clock.
What if I outgrow my tier?
You move up a tier and keep the same firm, the same people, and your full history. Moving up is the design, not a sales event.
Can I start small?
Yes. Oversight exists precisely for that — keep your books, get professional review, and move to done-for-you bookkeeping when your time is worth more than the difference.
Do prices change?
Reviewed annually. Any change is communicated in writing in advance — no silent increases.
